[Arcus-s3-users] Software update of Arcus' back-end 2026-04-07--2026-04-08

Dear Arcus users,

today (2026-04-07) and tomorrow, we will perform software
updates in the storage back-end for Arcus.  There will be a few
occasions throughout the day (and tomorrow) where accesses to
the /arcus filesystem (via Kelvin and Stratus) and the S3
interface (arcus-s3.nsc.liu.se) will hang.  Such hangs should
not last longer than a minute.

You should not notice anything else during the updates.  If you
do, report the problem to <smhi-support at nsc.liu.se>.
