Berzelius will be completely unavailable from tomorrow morning, 2023-05-09 at
07:00, until 2023-05-16.
The physical installation of new nodes, storage and cabling is now nearing its
completion. As such, Berzelius will be taken down to finalize the physical
installation and configuration, as well as performing burn-in tests and
benchmarks for validating the full cluster. The final window for the downtime
has been decided, and will remain as indicated in previous info emails,
2023-05-09 -- 2023-05-16. The downtime will start tomorrow at 07:00.
Please ensure you have transfered any files you need out from the cluster by
then, as Berzelius will be completely unavailable. For parts of the downtime
window, the filesystem will undergo maintenance and data be unavailable even for
NSC-staff.
If you intend to run jobs *today*, take care to set a time limit (Use the `-t`
Slurm option) that guarantees your jobs end before the maintenance reservation
starts, tomorrow 2023-05-09 at 07:00. Otherwise, Slurm will schedule jobs for
*after* the downtime.
Current status of NSC's systems is available on
