[Berzelius-users] Berzelius downtime 2025-09-19

Dear Berzelius users,

due to urgent security updates we will restructure the downtime planed 
for Friday next week (2025-09-19) as a rolling update of the login nodes 
this Friday (tomorrow). During the update one login node will always be 
available. We will start with Berzelius2 at 2025-09-12 09:00 CEST and 
follow up with Berzelius1 as soon as Berzelius2 has been returned to 
service. The full system stop will be delayed until Tuesday 2025-09-23 
09:00 CEST. There will not be a downtime on 2025-09-19.

Batch jobs will continue to run during the rolling update of the login 
nodes. Interactive jobs will be terminated when the login nodes are 
rebooted. All user sessions on the login nodes will be terminated.

The reduced availability of 80GB A100 nodes is not affected by this and 
remains in place. The reduced availability is to allow for the 
commissioning and acceptance testing of a new weather forecasting cluster.
