[Bi-users] bi3 write performance issues for smhid19, reboot tomorrow

Dear Bi Users,

we are seeing write performance issues for the /nobackup/smhid19
filesystem on login node bi3 (aka bi). We do not see the same issue on
other login nodes or compute nodes, or for other filesystems on bi3.
To troubleshoot and correct:

- NSC will do work on the server side ~ 13:30 CEST today to see if this
  corrects the problem on bi3. Access to smhid19 will hang for some time
  on other nodes during this.

- Please feel free to use bi1 and bi2 too if you are experiencing this
  issue (or in general, if you want to enjoy a little less crowded login
  node).

- NSC will reboot login node bi3 tomorrow Thursday at 16:30. It should
  be up again within an hour.

- NSC will get back to you about reboots of the other login nodes,
  tentatively during next week.
