Short version: smhid5 will be unavailable between 13.00 and 20.00 tomorrow.

Longer version
A hardware failure has occured on d21 (the server which serves the smhid5 file
system). This failure has put the server into an unusual semi-dead state. As
it is now it still serves smhid5 but it could fail completely at any time. We
are planning to replace the failing component at 13.00 tomorrow. If all goes
well d21 and smhid5 will be back in normal operation later tomorrow
afternoon.

Note that the problem is _NOT_ with the actual data-arrays so there is no need
to do any emergency copying of data.
