[Fahrenheit-users] Fahrenheit downtime 2026-04-28

Dear Fahrenheit users,

after discussions with the user representatives, we have
scheduled a downtime of Fahrenheit:

    2026-04-28 from 09:00 to 17:00 CEST

During the downtime, Fahrenheit will be unavailable (with jobs
cancelled and users logged out from the login node).

The reason for the downtime is to allow us to reconfigure the
network connection between Fahrenheit and the storage system.
Fahrenheit is currently connected to the storage system using
Ethernet, to allow Nebula to be connected to the storage system
simultaneously.  After Nebula has been shut down, it is possible
to reconfigure the storage to use Fahrenheit's fast Infiniband
network.  This will increase the per-node bandwidth to the
storage system significantly.
