[Freja-users] New Accumulus Filesystem accmls1

Dear Accumulus storage users,

a new Accumulus filesystem is available for use on Freja.

  /nobackup/accmls1

Also available on Tetralith login nodes but not compute nodes at this 
time, will send an update when available on Tetralith compute nodes.

Instead of two separate filesystems like previous rossby?? and smhid?? 
it's now a single filesystem, and we have enabled project quotas.


Project default quotas are currently 5TiB and 5M files, these will 
likely need to be adjusted individually per project. At this time the 
person to contact for quota changes is:

There are no global uesrs/<username>/ directories. If you need a 
personal directory I suggest creating a users/<username>/ inside the 
relevant project directory, example: proj/nsc/users/freny/


Try to avoid moving (mv) files between projects, low number of large 
files is not a big problem, moving large amount of small files is.


You cannot create hard links between projects (we would actually prefer 
if you could avoid using hard links altogether).
