[Gamma-users] Job scheduler problem on Gamma

Dear Gamma users,

At around 15:00 today, a Gamma user submitted a job recursively
submitted more copies of itself. This eventually led to the job
scheduler (Slurm) to become very slow due to the large number of
requests it had to handle.

If you saw errors from commands like squeue, sinfo, sbatch, srun, ...
between 15:00 and 15:55 (or in the output from jobs running at this
time), this was the reason.
