[Matter-users] Reboot of the Matter login node 2011-09-22

Dear Matter users,

This Thursday (2011-09-22) we will reboot the Matter login node
matter.nsc.liu.se for an operating system upgrade. All compute nodes are
already running the new version (CentOS 5.7), so this will bring the
login node to the same level. Since the upgrade includes a new version
of the Linux kernel, a reboot is required.

The upgrade is scheduled to start at 07.30 CEST on Thursday morning, and
will hopefully take less than an hour.

All running and queued batch jobs are unaffected by this, but
interactive jobs will be terminated.
