[Nebula-users] Nebula partial downtime 2019-10-30 10-11 CET

Dear Nebula Users,

we need to upgrade the software on one of the shared ethernet switches
in the Stratus and Nebula clusters.

As we have a downtime planned for Stratus on Wednesday 30 October for
Slurm and OS updates on the cluster itself, we would like to schedule
the switch update during that period, to minimize disruption for the
production on Stratus.

After talking to our user representative Ole V, we have decided to do
the switch update at the beginning of the planned Stratus downtime,
between 10 and 11 CET (the Stratus downtime extends to 13 CET).

During that hour, Nebula will lose contact with the Internet several
times. Your connections from MET etc to Nebula will hang or be
disconnected. Batch jobs on Nebula should not be affected.
