Dear Users,

At NSC, Björn Andersson is doing his diploma work on "JLabGrid - Grid
Computing in Intranets", a java-based environment for distributed
computing utilizing idle desktops and servers. To evaluate this
environment and get ideas of further development, he would like to
port an scientific application of limited size to Java and this
enviroment.

If you are working with Java or have an application of limited size
written in another language that could be suitable for distributed
computing, please let us know.

JLabGrid (www.jlabgrid.com) is a simple computational grid focused on
using the idle time on office computers for useful computations. CPUs
of office computers are normally only used only 5 per cent of the
time. All comments about JLabGrid are appreciated.

Best regards,
     Niclas
