[Snic-users] File system problems 04:00-09:30 today

Around 04:00 this morning the old centre storage started experiencing
problems. This affects the file systems /software, /home and
/nobackup/global on the clusters Triolith, Kappa and Matter. The new
storage system, used for /proj, was not affected.

The initial symptoms was bad performance, and later all accesses to the
file system would hang. Since this affected /home the problem also
prevented logging in to the clusters.

The problem stopped at 09:30 today.

We do not have any reason to suspect that any data was lost.
