[Snic-users] Unplanned outage: Triolith, Kappa and Matter

Dear Triolith, Kappa and Matter users,

Currently, there is a problem with the shared storage (/home and
/nobackup) affecting Triolith, Kappa and Matter. Until further notice,
these systems are not available.

A very quick look at the system suggests that:

- the problem was probably cause by an overload of some kind, and it
is unlikely that any data was damaged
- most or all running jobs were lost

More information will follow later.
