[Snic-users] Storage problem affecting logins and some jobs

Dear Tetralith, Sigma, Triolith, and Gamma users,

logins were disabled this morning due to a storage problem.  Logins are
now enabled again.

The storage problem seems to have started already yesterday (2018-09-18)
some time after 20:00, causing some accesses to the file systems /home,
/proj, and /software to hang.  This affected a small number of jobs only
on Tetralith.  Users of these jobs will be informed in a separate email.

Some time after 08:00 today (2018-09-19), _all_ accesses to the /home file
system started to hang.  This affected all jobs trying access /home.  As
of 11:50 today, the problem has been resolved.

If your job ended unexpectedly or failed between 08:00 and 11:50 today,
check the output of your job.  If it is incomplete, resubmit the job.
