Hello,

The storage system is not back online. Though in a crippled state where
disk performance is slightly degraded, but which should not affect any
user programs. The rest of the work to get the system up in normal
operation will be continued either at the end of next week or the week
after that togheter with a memory upgrade.

ALL data is now migrated to tape as a result of some precautionary
measures had to be taken before work was done on the filesystems. This
will make the retriving of files somewhat slower before the disk caches
have filled up again.


P.S.:
Tests with migftp from bluesmoke shows the system is okay. But migftp
from tornado does not seem to work, which must be the result of some
certificate problems on tornado. I will notify the administrators about
this right away.
