Dear Tetralith users,

I would like to remind you of the ongoing upgrade of Tetralith.

NSC strongly recommends that you move your jobs to the upgraded part
before mid-December if you can.

Even if the hard deadline is January 8th, NSC has a very limited ability
to help you with any problems during the holiday period.

The users who have started using the upgraded nodes (around 10% of
Tetralith's active users) have not reported any serious problems. On the
contrary, some report better performance and features.

Even if there are no serious problems so far, most users will need to
make at least some minor adjustment of job scripts, etc. So please do
not put the move off to the last minute.

There are currently a number of idle nodes in the upgraded part of
Tetralith, and we will try to keep it that way by upgrading nodes at the
same rate as users move to the upgraded part.
