[Triolith-users] Triolith service stop next Friday (October 11th) from 08:00

Dear Triolith users,

Next Friday (October 11th, 2013-10-11) from 08:00 CEST, almost all(*)
Triolith compute nodes will be unavailable in order to perform
required maintenance and run an acceptance test of the entire Triolith
system including the 400 new nodes. We will try to make the stop as
short as possible, but it will probably run until Saturday morning.

Until then, only jobs that can finish before next Friday 08:00 will be
started. If you want jobs to run before that time, make sure that you
adjust the wall time limit accordingly.

No running jobs will be affected. Queued jobs will remain in the queue
until the stop is over. During the stop, you can still access your
files from the login nodes and submit new jobs to the queue. As soon
as we are done, queued jobs will be allowed to start again.

(*) we will probably leave a few (2-8) nodes available for test and
development jobs. Please do not abuse these nodes for production jobs.
