[Vagnekman-users] Vagn: slow access to SMHI/Accumulus file systems

Dear Vagn users,

The network link between Vagn and Accumulus (provides access to the
SMHI file systems /nobackup/rossby*, /nobackup/misu*, /nobackup/fou*
and /nobackup/smhi*) is overloaded.

This link only has a capacity of 1 Gbit/s (~100 MB/s) and is currently
98% full in the direction Accumulus -> Vagn. This results in very slow
access to some file systems (e.g rossby10 and rossby13).

We will try to upgrade this network link as soon as possible (possibly
later today).

In the meantime, if you have any non-urgent jobs on Vagn that read
large amounts of data from Accumulus file systems, please consider not
running them today.

(The /home, /nobackup/vagn1 and /nobackup/vagn2 file systems are not
affected by this.)
