[Bi-users] Bi reduction during the winter

Dear Bi Users,

Swedish government agencies have been asked by the government to reduce
power consumption during the winter months. As part of that effort, SMHI
has decided to turn off ~ 100 Bi nodes, a reduction level that should
not affect ongoing activities.

NSC and SMHI have decided to implement this by powering down two whole
racks of nodes, n[1-96], at the time of the planned system work on
Monday 2022-10-31.

If you know that all Bi nodes will be needed during a certain week, it
will be possible to power up the nodes again for that week. Talk to you
user representative (Ulf or Michael) in advance if that is the case.
