[Dunder-users] Dunder and Tornado upgrade tomorrow

Dear Dunder/Tornado users,

Tomorrow afternoon we will start to conclude our extensive software upgrade
of the Tornado and Dunder clusters. We will perform a rolling upgrade this
time. The immediate effect on your end should be very slight, that is, no
running jobs should be affected and queued jobs will only experience some
delay before being started (in the order of 12h).

The login nodes and analysis nodes will however be inacessible due to this
upgrade, starting tomorrow at 16:00 and ending as soon as possible
thereafter, depending on which -- if any -- problems we encounter. We
estimate a one hour outage of the login and analysis nodes.

As soon as the login nodes are upgraded you are free to submit jobs again,
that is, if you get in you can submit jobs, only their start may be
delayed.
