[Gimle-users] Gimle update

Dear Gimle Users,

we have started to roll out a new node image on the Gimle compute nodes.
It contains:

- CentOS 5.6 (security updates and bug fixes)

- Different Lustre client (hopefully solving a problem reported by one
  of you).

We update nodes as the jobs running on them finish. Thus, running jobs
will not be affected, but it may take some time before nodes become
available again.

I will get back to you about a short stop to update the login node and
other system servers next week.
