[Snic-users] Important: /nobackup/global at NSC no longer writable!

Dear Triolith, Kappa and Matter users,

/nobackup/global is no longer available. If you have moved all your
files already, you can stop reading now.

Details:

We have today started replacing /nobackup/global on compute nodes with
a directory containing only symbolic links. Any symbolic links that
were present on /nobackup/global yesterday has been preserved in this
way. This is done to enable users to link the location of "well known"
files or directories to the new location on /proj. Later this week, we
will also do the same on all login nodes.

If you have not yet copied or moved your files from /nobackup/global,
please contact us (support at nsc.liu.se) immediately!
