[Vagnekman-users] /cfs outage during the ongoing downtime of Ekman

Additional info about the /cfs during the ongoing downtime of Ekman:

2009-09-29 at 12:00 [Ekman]
   Between Thursday the 8th of October at 09:00 and Friday the 9th of October
   at 17:00, Ekman will be inaccessible due to a cooling acceptance test. We
   are sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause.

Tomorrow starting at 10:00, the Lustre fileservers for the scratch filesystem
will be upgraded and the directory structure changed somewhat. During the
upgrade, the whole filesystem will be unavailable, which means that ongoing
filetransfers will be interrupted. During the upgrade, the whole content of
/cfs/ekmanscratch will be moved to /cfs/ekman/scratch to prepare for a
separation into a scratch and a nobackup part. For convenience, there will
also be a temporary link from /cfs/ekmanscratch to /cfs/ekman/scratch for a
while, so that e.g. already queued jobs will work.
